We approached the project with a global perspective and proposed, in the form of a gallery, an “axis”, which would allow the linking of all interior and exterior spaces, and would constitute an initial section for an extension. We treated the new 4500m2 multipurpose hall with the idea of giving it a unique image. It is composed of a double skin. The interior shell is designed as a parallelepiped concrete rectangle, which answers in a practical way structural and functional concerns. The thickness thus obtained between the two allows all the technical facilities and premises to be hidden within. The utilization of metallic cladding, a shiny material that reflects the environment, is a choice intended to support and lightens the body of the building, allowing its contours to disappear in the expanse of the sky.
