Despite giving off the appearance of a completely wooden building, the stadium in reality possesses a heterogeneous structure underneath, composed equally of steel and concrete. Two metal-beam trusses extend across the 100m length of the plot, traversing and bracing the edifice, and giving an overall finesse to the wooden structure.
